We encourage creativity and initiative, recognize individual and team contributions and provide our employees opportunities to develop to their full potential.We are looking for an experienced Accountant, to join our Authentication team at the manufacturing site in Logan, Utah.What you will do?The Accountant is responsible for accounting activities related to accounts payable, supply chain, banking, and cost center reporting, and is required to post journal entries, perform month-end closing, reconcile balance sheet accounts, work with various functions to help control and report against budgets, and ad hoc assignments.Responsible for accurately reporting all general ledger activityPerform monthly general ledger account reconciliationsComplete month-end closing in a timely manner and generate monthly reportsResponsible for the accounting related to accounts payable, supply chain, banking, and cost center reportingBank Reconciliation, cash review and weekly reportingGenerate monthly accrualsMaintain detailed fixed asset/depreciation scheduleProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring invoices are processed timely and within policyProcess weekly payment runs and coordinate banking with parent companyCost center reporting and cost support for cost center ownersSupport inventory control and product costing functionsAssist Finance Manager with any special projectsResearch and resolve issues as assignedEnsure proper SOX controls are defined and implementedSupport/backup payroll functionsThe above list is not exhaustive.
