Job DescriptionThe Cache County Sheriff's office is looking for someone to keep our facilities sparkling clean. Looking for someone who is detail oriented, with custodial experience in restrooms, floors and general cleaning.

Essential Functions: Sweeps, buffs, dusts, strips waxes, washes and polished hard surface floors; cleans walls, door frames, doors, and glass; empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans, disinfects and sanitizes rest room sinks and bowls; washes windows; vacuums and shampoos carpets and entry rugs and mats; maintains work closets and monitor availability of supplies. Operates various cleaning equipment such as a power buffer, carpet extraction machine, etc.; mixes chemicals as needed to perform specialized cleaning functions.The ideal candidate will have sufficient education and training to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform related duties and six months related experience. The candidate must also pass a thorough background investigation and may not have been convicted of a felony. The position requires a valid Driver's license and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or reckless driving offenses within the previous five (5) years or no more than two (2) moving violations within the previous 24 months and may be required to work abnormal work schedules.This is a part-time, non-benefited position working up to 29.5 hours per week.
