Job Description Job Description Position Summary A Clinic Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a medical clinic, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care, and that the clinic operates efficiently. This role requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and healthcare knowledge. The Clinic Administrator will work closely with medical staff, support teams, and patients to maintain a well-organized and effective healthcare environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality patient care Supervise, train, and support assigned administrative and support staff Develop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and operational standards Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance oversight Serve as a liaison between medical providers, administrative teams, and leadership Monitor patient flow and identify opportunities to improve service delivery and patient experience Address patient concerns, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance overall patient care and clinic effectiveness Program / Service Support Coordinate patient care services and ensure smooth clinic operations Support onboarding and ongoing professional development for clinic staff Organize and facilitate staff training and continuing education opportunities Assist with marketing, outreach, and community engagement initiatives as assigned Documentation & Compliance Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely records in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements Oversee patient billing processes, insurance claims, and revenue cycle activities Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare management software effectively Monitor clinic budgets, expenses, and financial performance Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and organizational goals Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or similar professional certification Experience with healthcare operations, budgeting, and financial management Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Knowledge of healthcare operations, policies, and regulatory requirements Proficiency with EHR systems, healthcare management software, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards Ability to guide, motivate, and support staff in high-pressure situations Work Schedule Full Time, Monday – Friday (may vary based on clinic needs) Physical Requirements (if applicable) Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods Ability to use standard office and computer equipment Occasional lifting of office or clinic materials as needed Benefits 401k Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off Accidental Insurance Critical Illness Insurance 14 Paid Holidays
