Job Description:

Milieu Design is a full service design firm that inspires vision, works closely with clients and brings ideas into reality. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant that is bright, organized and self-motivated that can perform varied office administrative tasks to support our design firm.The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, a good communicator, organized, able to work in a team environment and have previous Office Administrative experience. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Suites, Quick Books and Adobe.The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Administrative assistance and support to Principal Designer/Owner
  • Answer phones and direct inquiries
  • Perform general office duties (filing, copying, etc.)
  • Coordinate office scheduling/manage calendar
  • Aid in creation of FF&E Sheets
  • Attend vendor product meetings
  • Maintain design library
  • Overseas furniture logistic coordination
  • Create estimates, invoices & purchase orders in Quick Books
  • Assist in organizing and maintain paperwork/electronic files
  • Aid/Support in creation of legal documents
  • Opening/closing/locking up office and setting up alarm as needed
  • Coordination with outside vendors and contractors for purchasing and scheduling for projectsAt Milieu Design we have a great working environment and we are looking forward to working with our new Administrative Assistant.
