Job ID: 8519 SDL is seeking an experienced and passionate copywriter to develop written content for outward-facing marketing collateral and internal marketing support efforts. Responsibilities include developing content for brochures, social media, presentations, posters, and other marketing projects as needed. This position is full-time and is located onsite in North Logan, UT. Qualified applicants must submit a cover letter and resume. Required Qualifications BS degree in marketing, technical writing, communications, English, or a related field Minimum of two years of related professional experience A strong knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules Detail-oriented with a passion for the written word Excellent written communication skills and the ability to develop compelling copy Excellent verbal communication skills and can express ideas clearly and logically Able to understand and translate technical concepts into copy that is easy to understand and meets business objectives Proficiency in MS Office Ability to be proactive and work effectively with little direct supervision Ability to work productively alone and in a team Understand and follow business communication protocols, including following up and closing the loop Ability to assess and meet tight deadlines, set individual priorities, and maintain flexibility when priorities shift, sometimes unexpectedly Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with engineers and technical concepts Familiarity with the aerospace industry Professional experience working as a copywriter At SDL, we take pride in and highly value our employees.
