Service Technician Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and
dedicated Plumbing and Drains Service Technician to join our team
of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for
diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including
drains, pipes, and fixtures, to ensure the safety and efficiency of
residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities: -
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems and
equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, providing
effective solutions. - Install, repair, and replace various
plumbing components such as pipes, valves, and fixtures. - Clear
blockages and ensure the efficient operation of drainage systems. -
Conduct inspections and tests to identify issues and recommend
corrective actions. - Provide exceptional customer service by
communicating effectively with clients and addressing their
plumbing concerns. - Maintain accurate records of work performed,
materials used, and time spent on each job. - Stay up-to-date with
industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations. -
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on
time and within budget. Qualifications: - High school diploma or
equivalent; certification from a technical or trade school is a
plus. - Proven experience as a Plumbing and Drains Service
Technician or similar role. - Strong knowledge of plumbing systems,
tools, and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints
and technical diagrams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of
a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Valid
driver's license and a clean driving record. - Ability to lift and
carry heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
