As a full-time Air Duct Cleaning Technician at Upfront Plumbing Drains Heating and Air, you'll do just that! Once there, you'll inspect air ducts, vents, and HVAC systems, using specialized tools like vacuum systems, brushes, and air whips to remove dust, debris, and other contaminants. Your job doesn't stop at cleaning-after ensuring the ventilation systems are spotless, you'll perform basic maintenance on the equipment, keep everything running smoothly, and ensure safety protocols are followed when working in confined spaces. You'll also have the chance to interact with clients, explaining your process and recommending ways they can improve their air quality. You'll end the day by documenting your work and reporting any issues you found during the job. YOUR SCHEDULE AS AN AIR DUCT CLEANING TECHNICIAN You'll enjoy a stable Monday to Friday schedule, working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Plus, you'll be dispatched directly from your home to your daily job sites-no need to report to a central office. Enjoy a job that gives you independence and structure. REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AIR DUCT CLEANING TECHNICIAN Mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license Strong communication and customer service skills Basic understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including troubleshooting and repair Previous experience in air duct or HVAC system cleaning is a huge plus. Certifications such as NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) or EPA Section 608 certification are also a plus.
