An opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This 1099 contract position based in Lehi, UT, requires proficient interpretation skills to facilitate effective communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educational staff during virtual sessions. Key responsibilities include: Providing accurate and timely sign language interpretation in telehealth formats. Collaborating with educators and healthcare providers to ensure clarity in communication. Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Adapting interpretation approaches to meet the individual needs of students. Participating in ongoing training to stay current with interpreting standards and educational practices. Qualifications and desired experience: Strong fluency in American Sign Language (ASL). Experience interpreting in educational or telehealth environments.
