Description: Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the
Nursing Process for patients across various age groups. Documents
thoroughly as care is delivered, following regulatory and hospital
requirements. Assumes responsibility for clinical competencies and
professional development. Practices in a clinical environment
through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical
skills. Ability to work varied shifts and/or days including
weekends and holidays. Must be able to utilize good judgment,
demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all
times. Must work adaptively to meet new patient safety
requirements, goals, or objectives. Proficient in the use of
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook along with electronic medical
records software. Possesses interpersonal verbal communication and
advanced math skills. Shows creativity, problem analysis
capabilities, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Patient Ratios:
1:6 Float required based on competencies. Daily Census: 48 Patient
Diagnoses include but are not limited to sepsis, confusion, COPD,
post-operative care, trauma, respiratory failure, bowel
obstruction, cardiac conditions, diabetes, and more.
Interdisciplinary support includes various clinical teams such as
IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. 5 Benefits of Travel
