The role demands a skilled individual who will work in our state-of-the-art surgery centers and hospitals, providing essential support to our surgical teams across a variety of procedures. This position involves preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and assisting surgeons during operations. Prepare and sterilize operating rooms and surgical instruments before, during, and after surgeries. Assist in setting up equipment, preparing sterile drapes, and ensuring necessary items are present at the surgical table. Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical personnel during medical procedures. Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure safety and accountability. Provide technical assistance to surgeons, such as passing instruments, cutting sutures, and operating lights or suction machines. Adhere to strict standards of asepsis and hygiene to maintain safe surgical environments. Strong knowledge of sterile procedures and aseptic techniques. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to respond quickly and efficiently under pressure. Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in operating surgical tools and monitoring sterilization equipment.
