Start Date: 02-16-2026 End Date: 05-11-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: Straight nights or 50/50 rotation, 7:00 PM -
7:00 AM NOC; schedule includes 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week
period Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour About

Provide expert, compassionate critical care to post-op cardiac and
CVICU patients Manage advanced hemodynamic support including
vasopressors, IABP monitoring, and arterial lines Operate and
troubleshoot ventilators and participate in rapid sequence
intubations Perform and assist with ICU procedures such as central
line placement, bronchoscopy, and chest tube care Oversee CRRT and
other renal replacement therapies when indicated Document patient
care accurately and efficiently in EPIC to ensure continuity and
quality Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, and
interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes Educate
patients and families with empathy and clear communication during
critical moments Qualifications Active RN license (able to practice
in Utah or via compact state privileges where applicable) Minimum 2
years of ICU experience preferred (strong candidates with 1 year of
focused experience will be considered) Cardiac/CVICU nursing
experience required or strongly preferred Required certification:
ACLS Hands-on experience with EPIC documentation is a plus
Comfortable floating to PCU or performing sitter duties as needed
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in
a fast-paced environment Knowledge & Skills Ventilator management
and advanced airway skills Vasopressor administration and titration
Arterial line and central line management Rapid sequence intubation
support and post-intubation care Bronchoscopy and chest tube
management familiarity CRRT and IABP knowledge Familiarity with
EPIC clinical documentation and charting workflows Ability to
manage complex patient ratios (typically 1:2, up to 1:1 for highest
