Job Description Job Description Education & Experience: Support
Level 6: High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years’ experience in a
laboratory setting; An Associated degree with biology course-work
is preferred. Assists with stocking project-specific laboratory
supplies, including inventorying stock. 2. Participates in weekly
cleaning activities to maintain a clean lab environment. 3. Follow
detailed instructions in the execution of experiments/procedures.
4. Work in a Biosafety level 2 environment using appropriate PPE
with potentially pathogenic microbes, patient samples, and body
fluids using sterile techniques for contamination and infection
control. 5. Work in PCR areas using appropriate PPE while ensuring
proper containment of nucleic acid contamination 6. Use electronic
laboratory notebooks to record experimental details.
