Must-Have: Charting experience with Epic Description: Provide care
in a progressive care/step down/telemetry setting. Charting will be
performed using Epic. Experience with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
is required. Staffing includes 24 beds for adult and geriatric
patients. The unit sees a daily census of approximately 23
patients. Patients may present with diagnoses such as heart
failure, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, and renal failure. Skills
required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias,
blood product administration, and non-invasive airway management.
Additional responsibilities include managing cardiac and vasoactive
drips without titration. The role may involve participation in
rapid response and code teams. Teamwork will be essential, with
interdisciplinary support from various services. Weekend coverage
is expected, with a minimum of six weekend shifts during the
contract. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and may
involve floating to different units. Additional special procedures
may be performed in the unit, including emergent cardioversion and
central line placement. The use of specialized equipment such as
BIPAP, CPAP, and IV pumps will be necessary. Requirements Required
