Systems Administrator The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) has been developing innovative technologies and solutions for cutting-edge DoD and intelligence programs for almost six decades. Our expertise is in space and airborne IR, VIS, UV, and RF sensors, small satellite technologies, test and calibration, cybersecurity, data assurance, and ground stations. We are seeking an entry-level, intermediate, and experienced Systems Administrators to support projects for US Government customers. Successful applicants will be passionate about their work, insist on a job well-done, and take an active role in producing high-quality, professional results. Required Qualifications: -- BS degree in a related field (computer science, electrical/computer engineering, business information systems, etc.) -- Two to five or more years of related experience -- Excellent verbal and written communication skills -- Strong time and project management skills -- Able to work independently and as part of a team -- Must be a US citizen -- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance -- Must be able to travel Preferred experience in one or more of the following: -- Microsoft Windows (Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016) -- Linux (CentOS, RHEL) -- Networking infrastructure, hardware and principles (Ethernet, IP, VPN, routing, switches) -- Network-attached storage protocols and principles (NFS, SMB, iSCSI, Fiber Channel) -- Hardware virtualization (VMware, KVM, etc.) -- Scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, etc.) -- Software engineering concepts and industry best practices -- Version control principles and tools (SVN, Git, Bamboo, etc.) -- OS- and network-level security controls (Firewalls, VLANs, OS security hardening) About SDL: SDL offers flexible work schedules and competitive salaries and benefits.
