What you---ll do A Material Handler is assigned specific tasks, such as replenishing raw material inventories and materials used in the production process. Follows all standard work procedures and systems in place to maintain FIFO and ensure the production line never stops. Also responsible for general area clean-up, and any other duties designed to keep the production operators at their workstations. Enter into Oracle and create move order for urgent supplies needed Communicate with warehouse and gather up requested supplies and deliver them to production staging area Follow the delivery route into the gowning rooms/cleaning closets and Production areas accordingly Follow up with vendor as needed on gowning supplies Ensure delivery of materials and supplies to DPM line as specified Use and maintain the min/max chemical storage area in the formulation lab and order needed chemical for formulation of products as needed Work with production to make sure they have everything they need to sustain continued production flow Top off all consumables in each area at end of shift Material Handler duties focus on the production area and should not distract from assigned duties. Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Other Duties in the Production Area, as needed: Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or dollies Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies Order kits and deliver to production as required Maintain stocking/inventory objectives Quantifies and verifies cycle count Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies Quality Specific Goals Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming and rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that the product conforms to its specification Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records Who you are High school diploma or local equivalent Demonstrated ability to communicate (read, write and speak) in English Proficient in basic mathematics Ability to work with others Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds Capable of working in extreme cold conditions (-20--c/-4--f) on a regular basis Basic computer skills Desired Characteristics 2 years--- experience in storing and material handling Experience in a production environment Previous experience with Oracle and Master Control Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control Prior experience using a forklift and weight scales Who we are Whatever your role, we bring purpose and challenge into our everyday work.
