Freemotion and its equipment is a catalyst for positive change world-wide, helping people live without limitations. The Marketing Team is busier than ever before due to Freemotion's ongoing success and therefore requires a strong, experienced, and hands-on Brand Strategist.

SUMMARY

The Brand Strategist will ensure a clear, consistent, and effective brand message. The Brand Strategist will need to be forward-thinking to anticipate future trends and be a catalyst for the success of Freemotion.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Marketing Director to develop brand positioning recommendations and define all brand elements and tone. The Brand Strategist will develop new ways to further enhance the branding of Freemotion products and develop marketing plans through analysis of current market data and trends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing the brand strategy for Freemotion and its products

  • Work with the Global Marketing Director on brand strategy development and evolution

  • Being a voice of the brand and the audience in each and every project

  • Create and deliver an ongoing program of market-leading customer proposition development using research and insights

  • Create and deliver target segment strategies and action plans across the customer experience

  • Ensure the end to end brand and customer experience is optimized based on insights and performance

  • Create compelling campaign themes from insights and develop forward campaign themes and strategies (12-18 month calendar).

  • Build excellent processes and relationships across all teams (internal, agencies and global partners) to deliver innovative, effective and on-brand marketing communications.

  • Distill consumer and customer insights and trends for application and optimization across the end to end brand experience

  • Deliver Consumer and Customer Insights to support the new product development process.

  • Lead on the ideation and identification of strategic brand partnerships, licenses, and collaborations for brand growth.

  • Be data-driven and use ongoing metrics to evaluate the success of the department and Freemotion brand.

  • Create and measure brand funnel metrics and performance by territory.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations or equivalent working experience

  • 7+ years relevant experience in marketing and communications with demonstrated success.

  • Experience working collaboratively with sales, marketing and other relevant internal functions.

  • Strategic thinking and great attention to detail.

  • Computer literate including experience using CMS system, social media sites (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook), Adobe Suite, Google products

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.

  • Experience in B2B marketing in the fitness industry or similar industry preferred

  • Exposure and understanding of international markets preferred.

  • Comprehensive B2B marketing experience

  • Exceptional marketing copywriting skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Exceptional data and analytic skills

  • Passion for fitness or health and wellness

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Ability to anticipate future trends

  • A dual-minded approach: creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions and create relevant content.
