GENERAL PURPOSE:The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing service to the customer base for all care and repair related issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-mail, phone and other electronic mediumConfiguration of company equipment to allow connection via VNC, webcam and additional proprietary software from the internet. (Modems/ Routers port forwarding)Actively update the service database with relevant informationConfigure software to run customer equipment (digital billboards)Obtain general understanding of OS and application operations related to company offered servicesIdentify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systemsPerform light lifting 40 lbs.Perform creation of new assets using company provided software toolsOther duties as tasked by department leadershipEscalate unresolved issues to the CSR LeadReport any and all repetitive issues to the CSR Lead and or the CSS SupervisorTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsRequired Skills:High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalentMinimum 1 year experience in technical support fieldKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to calmly and professionally assist the customer with support informationAbility to trouble shoot various network configurations, computer systems and basic electronic circuitsAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlinesAbility to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communicationSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organizedAbility to explain technical details in an easy-to-understand, step-by-step mannerProficient in internet related applications such as FTP clients and Firewall routersExcellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skillsTyping proficiency: 25-40 wpmPatient manner in dealing with non-computer-literate customers while working through some complex situationsAbility to understand networks, computer systems and basic electronic components and functionWe maintainadrug free workplace.Prismview is an EEO employer.
