We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as seasoned Mechanical Engineer with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) / ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) experience who can deliver detailed analytical concepts. As a Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for designing, developing, testing and applying engineering principles to design our fitness equipment. You may also conduct product testing and create prototypes for future production. Takes general direction from the Mechanical Engineering Product Manager and Mechanical Engineering Lead to effectively execute the completion of projects. The successful candidate for this position will be able to take a project from the conceptual stage through completion, taking into account budgeting and operational considerations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Basic Project and time Management skills. Leads complex aspects of a project (able to complete Type A/B/C projects with little to no supervision). Involved with creating the product development schedule, product cost estimates, component selection/application, etc. Strong ability to analyze structural integrity of the product design. Understands factory capabilities and reliably designs to maximize product quality. Strong understanding of the Icon design guides and can be counted on to engineer within their requirements. Mastered the ability to produce creative solutions to project objective challenges. Reliably executes the Icon development and release process. Able to be self-directed in unique aspects of the work. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Has in depth experience with multiple product lines, product expert in at least product line. Perform full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with 3-5 years applicable experience required, or Masters in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years applicable experience or 5 to7 direct relevant experience.
