What you'll do

  • Review and audit work order close activities to ensure timely and accurate information such as raw material consumption and finished goods transactions
  • Work with cross functional teams to problem solve inventory consumption and work order completion errors in a timely manner
  • Generate work order variance reports and provide analysis prior to work order closure
  • Drive problem solving activities for work order variances related to raw materials, finished goods, consumable resources and labor
  • Implement interim and long-term counter measures to mitigate future work order variances
  • Partner with product engineering to review and correct labor and / or material variances
  • Partner with finance for work order variances outside of normal tolerances
  • Review and escalate aged inventory performance
  • Drive continuous improvement for aged inventory thru problem solving, A3 thinking and kaizen participation
  • Create, implement, and train to standardized work leveraging DBS best practices
  • Identify and correct gaps in standardize work.
  • Track, trend, and problem solve KPI's to ensure sustainment of standards

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of inventory management experience
  • Basic cost accounting knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of material flow
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Build team trust and confidence
  • Strong knowledge of the Oracle
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Seeks to understand Customer's point of view (internal/external)
