Together, we're pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.What you'll doDetermine and set daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules within value streams. This role requires superior organization and planning skills. Production schedulers will examine customer orders, available staff and inventory, as well as machinery capabilities to effectively set and manage production schedules for multiple production lines. In addition, you will monitor manufacturing performance and actively adjust schedules in response to customer change requests, equipment downtime or supply shortages. Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)Create production schedules for multiple areasMonitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time performance to PLT to customersGenerate daily/weekly production reportsIdentify and report capacity constraintsWork closely with supervisors, leads, and managers to ensure effective communication in setting expectations and deadlinesWork with supervisors and manager to implement process improvements to achieve better production performanceWork with supervisors to ensure that materials and equipment are available to support production schedules, and materials are pre-arranged on production floorIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains municates clearly and persuasively in positive or challenging situations and demonstrates customer empathy.Writes clearly, succinctly, accuratelyAdapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.Other duties as assigned by managerWho you areBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED withat least 4 years of experience in ManufacturingComputer proficiencyWorking knowledge of OracleExcellent Interpersonal SkillsStrong problem-solving skillsDesired Characteristics:APICS CertificationSix Sigma Green BeltStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work independentlyStrong problem-solving skillsWhen you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization, where 68,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
