Job Description:
The SystemsAdministrator will support the Payment Solutions
(Blackboard Transact, PayPal, Clover, etc) hardware and software
currently used on campus. The position will be hired at either a
Systems Administrator I or II - see qualifications section.Manage
the various payment systems serviced through the Card
OfficeBlackboard TransactPayPal SolutionseCommerce SolutionsClover
Point of SaleMaintain card system in general, ensuring it is
functional, meeting expectations, and is up to dateTroubleshoot
system and equipment issues, working with USU IT teams and software
and equipment vendors to find resolutions in a timely mannerCreate
new accounts, configure and install devices, and customize account
settings for department needsMaintain equipment replacement
schedule for hardware and other vital systems equipment to ensure
timely replacement of dated equipment and implementation of
newPerform audits and maintain Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data
Security Standards and regulationsMonitor the different payment
gateways and assist with reconciling on a regular basisProvide
friendly and dependable service for all departments and users of
the various systems, ensuring satisfaction with the services and
solutions givenParticipate in professional development training to
gain new insight and skill for maintaining and improving in all
areas of system support, project management, and customer
relationsAdminister user access and configure systems settings such
as learner domains, role, notifications, and business rules in
support of defined business processesTimely and accurate completion
of tasksMinimum Qualifications:The position will be hired at either
a Systems Administrator I or Systems Administrator II:For a Systems
Administrator I: 4 years of experience with supporting software
solutions, managing projects, and providing support to clients and
end users OR a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of
education and experienceFor a Systems Administrator II: 6 years of
experience with supporting software solutions, managing projects,
and providing support to clients and end users OR a Bachelor's
degree plus 2 years of related experience OR an equivalent
combination of education and experienceProvide user-friendly,
secure, accurate, and dependable applications and support to all
customers and users while providing follow-up with customers to
ensure their satisfaction with the applications, services, and
solutions renderedPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in
related field with experience supporting software solutions,
managing projects, and providing support to clients and end
usersFamiliarity with payment solutions software and hardware
(Blackboard (Transact), PayPal, etc) as well as software
applications for authoring, training design, and web-based
developmentHigh level of planning and organizational skills
including the ability to follow through on assigned tasks and to
complete projects on timeAbility to manage multiple projects
simultaneously and to produce design documentsPayment System
software/hardware support experienceWebsite editing and e-commerce
application experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Effective
oral, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with limited
