Planner to manage internal material and fabrication activities. -
The role includes supporting spacecraft programs through part and
material procurement, tracking and facilitating multiple internal
processes, and delivery of organized kits to programs while
maintaining traceability. - This will include both mechanical and
EEE parts. - A successful candidate will have a balance of
technical and leadership skills necessary to effectively work with
various engineering disciplines and service centers while achieving

Working with engineering to identify
required parts and materialsCoordinating with programs regarding
fabrication timelines, need dates, etc.Working with purchasing and
internal fabrication groups to ensure items are available on
timeTracking parts through internal processing such as cleaning,
inspections, coatings, etcInternal part expediting as
neededEnsuring parts and materials meet specifications and quality
standardsManaging inventory issues, schedule changes, and
cancellationsRequired Qualifications:
High School graduate, GED, or some
higher education5+ years' experience in material resource
planningStrong verbal and written communication skills and be
proficient in interacting in a cross functional department
environmentSelf-motivated, dependable, and detail orientedAbility
to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to identify and
work through problems that may ariseProficiency in Microsoft Office
products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work with other team
members for completion of required tasks
Must be a US citizen and be able to
obtain a US government security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with NASA or aerospace
industry standardsExperience with cleanroom or contamination
control processesFamiliar with EEE parts and specificationsFamiliar
with processing of machined partsExperience working with
spaceflight hardwareTS security clearance or equivalentSDL supports
