*Job Description*


Production/Blending Technician will focus and lead the production of Terrafuse products. The role is to work with our facility manager and other TF personnel while manufacturing both our powder and liquid products.


*Responsibilities and Duties*


* Follow each process to prepare mixtures that meet the designs listed on specification sheets within pre-determined cycle times.

* Updates supervisor on work status or problems.

* Assists in modifying procedures to improve equipment operation or processes.

* Records blending logs and information concerning materials used.

* Follows simple testing protocols and documents results.

* Use valves, forklifts and hands to add liquid and powder ingredients to mixtures.

* Operate bagging equipment by placing bags into the system and retrieving and sealing full bags.

* Inspect all parts after production to ensure they are complete and up to quality standards

* Assist with the development of new production and machinery processes.

* Assist with inventory of raw materials & finished goods, and stock activities, as necessary.


*Qualifications and Skills Required*


* Previous experience (3-5 yrs) working within a manufacturing environment.

* Experience in packaging and processing.

* Must have developing knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.

* Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.

* Must have valid driver's license.

* Forklift certified.

* Proficient use Microsoft Office applications for daily tasks and activities: Outlook for emails and event scheduling, Excel, Word, etc.

* Be able to use a variety of hand tools including tape measure, screw gun, drill, and ratchet.

* Follow the instruction of the Supervisor/foreman/lead when doing miscellaneous duties

* Able to work with a team to complete daily tasks.

* Be able to read orders and identify missing or defective parts.

* Must have strong attention to detail.

* Able to keep work area clean and orderly.

* Must be able to bend at waist and knees, squat and stand for extended periods of time.

* Wear Personal Protective Equipment- Safety Glasses, full- mask respirator, Tyvek protection suit, and steel toe shoes.

* You must be able to lift 50 pounds.


*Salary and Benefits*


* The rate of pay for entry-level positions is $20 to $23 per hour depending upon experience.

* 5-day work week: hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday.

* Overtime may be required at times due to the needs of the business.

* Paid vacation.
