We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWe are currently looking for anenthusiasticCT Technologist to cover both X-ray and CT at St. Mark's Free Standing Emergency Department located in West Valley City! In our department, you will work independently in radiology providing imaging services to outpatients and ER patients, alongside the friendly ER staff. The equipment on site is a CT GE Revolution EVO & X-ray GE Optima XR646/XR220. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. In this role:
  • You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place the correct IV for the exam being performed.
  • You will beloading and operating MedRad power injector.
  • You willoperate and understand CT & X-ray equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
  • You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
  • You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.What qualifications you will need:
    • State Registered Radiologic Technician
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
