Job Description:

• 
  
• Assess the existence, effectiveness, and efficiency of the internal control, risk management, and governance systems and processes of the Bank by conducting operational and financial internal audits
  
• Review operations and programs to test whether results are consistent with established policies and procedures
  
• Maintain professional levels of industry and audit proficiency through appropriate training, education, and learning efforts
  
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and document information which supports audit results and provide timely written reports on audit findings and recommendations
  
• Review the means of safeguarding assets and, as appropriate, verify the existence of such assets
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree and/or experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or related field, is preferred
    
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word and Excel, is necessary
    
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees from all levels and departments in the Bank in an even manner is mandatory
    
  • Excellent problem solving, oral and written communication skills
    
  • Ability to travel to other branches to conduct onsite internal audits and attend certification training for up to five days.
    
  • Must be self-motivated, attentive to detail, and observant
    
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to prepare audit programs, work papers, and reports and recommend corrective action
